It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas…..
I hope everyone had a very Happy Thanksgiving with their friends and or family this weekend. Ours was a quiet one at home, but nice for a change since we will be heading to South Carolina for Christmas. I always look forward to decorating the day after Thanksgiving. I mean all you really need is Mariah Carey “All I Want for Christmas” blaring in the background to get you in the mood to go all Clark Griswold on your house. I really tried to hold out on the big decorating projects until after Thanksgiving, but I cheated just a little and put up our new flocked tree from Walmart a week ago. I was dying to get it out of the box since it’s the first flocked tree we’ve had! It actually was quite beautiful just on its own as you will see below in our Thanksgiving photo. I just wanted to share a mini tour of some of the decor we’ve put up so far on our main floor. The theme on this floor is Buffalo Plaid. Inspiration started when we were in Target one night (imagine that) wearing my own buffalo plaid flannel shirt and I saw all of the cute ornaments at Target in their Wondershop Collection…and I went a little crazy. I will try to link or mention some of the sources below for y’all. Hint..I went ham at Hob Lob. No surprise there. They had the best selection of buffalo plaid for sure. Happy start of the Holiday Season! Fa la la la la la la la la!!!!!
