Happy Monday! I hope all you moms out there had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend! Yesterday we put up our new light fixture for the kitchen dining area and I could not be happier! We picked it up at IKEA ages ago but never got around to installing it until yesterday. Light fixtures make such a difference in a space. Before we had a pretty traditional brushed nickel chandelier that was here when we bought the house, but I wanted something a little more industrial farmhouse instead to go along with our table which is steel and reclaimed wood.

Hello Hektar!

After hanging it up, it inspired me to share some other affordable light fixtures I’ve come across. This one is called the Hektar from IKEA and it was only $59.99. It’s a dark gray which was perfect since the legs of our table are the same dark gray color. I also love how it disperses the light. Since its a drum light it points the light down onto the table, which really shows off the reclaimed wood of our table, and it makes the food look even more delicious!

I’ve rounded up a few other favorite light fixtures from Amazon, Wayfair, and Hayneedle down below. All of them around under $150! Very affordable!

This Globe Electric Angelina 4-Light Industrial Vintage Pendant from Amazon is so cool! And right now it’s under $100! It has an awesome vintage feel but with a modern flare as well. How cool does it look with these Edison bulbs too?!!

Another beautiful chandelier from Hayneedle that had both wood and metal elements is this one by Signature Design by Ashley Plato. Again the Edison bulbs!

These indoor/outdoor Barn Lights on Amazon for $50 each are such a steal! I can see them over a favorite piece of art or as an outdoor light on a back porch. They are simple and classic farmhouse!

This Dyer Beaded Flush Mount light fixture from Wayfair gives the Industrial look with a softer touch. The beaded detail adds a bit of romance. I think this would be perfect for a bedroom, powder room, or even a fun laundry room. It’s also under $150.

Loving these sweet little sconces. I think they would look amazing on a fireplace or in a dining room on either side of any wall decor. I love the mix of hand blown glass, iron, and wood. My favorite combo! They are the Burtondale 1- Light Armed Sconce on Wayfair for under $35!

A 3 pack of pendants for under $100! Sign me up! I love these Dazhuan black vintage pendants on Amazon. They would look amazing over a large kitchen island!
