Fusion Mineral Paint Algonquin
This little blue bench was just sitting all alone at Goodwill one day and I could not pass her up. Yes she had seen better days, but I knew she still had some life left in her. Anyone else refer to furniture as living things?
At $20 I knew I had to bring her home. She sat on our porch for who knows how long before I decided to give her a little makeover.
While shopping at a local antique shop I came across the Fusion Mineral Paint and asked my husband for his opinion on color since there were just too many for me to decide on. He chose Algonquin. And I’m glad he did. It’s a beautiful beige gray that matches our stonework on our house.
This paint went on like a dream. I honestly only did one coat over her blue self. It was amazing. Even with chalk paint I have to do another coat. So if you are debating whether or not to try it, try it!! You won’t regret it! I’m already planning out my next project with it.
So here’s Betty all decked out in her new outfit ready for some attention! She does have some blemishes on her seat so I still need to custom make a cushion for her since none of the ones out there are the proper size. But that’s another day.
Had to share my Clematis. Such a beautiful shade of purple.
Thank you for flying by my nest today!

Robyn
