Wal-Mart Recliners Review
Hey friends and happy Tuesday! I’ve gotten many questions about our Wal-Mart recliners by Better Homes and Gardens so I thought it would be the perfect time to share my Wal-Mart Recliners review. We purchased these back in March so I feel that we have had ample time to break them in and give an honest review.
The shipping was super fast! I believe we received them within a week of ordering them. The boxes are super large and awkward, so I ended up unpacking them on my front porch. They come in two pieces and take no time to put together. Then you just have to attach the feet and you’re good to go! They are probably the easiest pieces of furniture I’ve ever had to put together. And I have put a lot of furniture together in my day! I swear I don’t pose my cats, they just know I’m doing something weird so they end up in the most random places. Let me know in the comments how many times you see Mickey or Sunny in my pics.
There is a back panel of fabric that connects to the bottom of the chair with velcro, and as you can see on the left chair it wasn’t as taught as the right chair. That is my only qualm about these chairs. The other one is perfect, but the left one’s fabric seemed to be a bit longer than the right one. Most people wouldn’t even notice it, but I of course notice if a stitch is out of place. 🙂
Comfort
As for comfort…they couldn’t be any cozier! They are nice and deep, which I love! The bottom cushions are firm to keep their shape but not overly firm to where they aren’t comfortable if that makes sense. When I recline all the way back I do find myself putting a pillow behind my head for neck support since the backs of the chairs curve in. But I’d rather that than have an ugly pillowy back if that makes sense.
I really love the nailhead detail on these chairs. It gives them that additional detail that I was looking for. I went back and forth with which color I wanted, but I’m glad that we chose the beige for this room. I really love the gray too, but our sofa’s are a light light beige so I didn’t think they would go as well.
The fabric is wonderful! I have had a mark on one of them, and I just used some dish soap and water and it came out perfectly fine.
They have two settings to them. I do wish that I could be in the upright position and have just my feet up, but that’s ok. They don’t have a lever like most recliners, you simply just lean back and slightly push back on the arms and it reclines.
Overall I am still in love with these chairs, and for the price you really can’t beat them! They were under $250 each when we bought them. I feel like that’s a steal for a recliner this size. When you look at them straight on you would never believe that they are recliners.
Wal-Mart really has stepped up their game when it comes to home decor, and I can’t wait to see what else they come out with! Home decor on a budget is what this girl is all about!
Thank you for flying by today! If you have any other questions that I haven’t answered in this review please feel free to leave your questions in the comments.
