Spring Coffee Bar

Before I began styling this coffee bar today, I knew I wanted it to be an explosion of Spring. That’s what I was going for, and I think I achieved just that. When I think of Spring, I think of lots of greenery and florals. So I raided my decor closet of everything I could find to make this coffee bar come to life for the new Season.

I get a lot of questions about our coffee bar and if we made it ourselves. Chris actually found it at a market back when we lived in Georgia. The vendor was going out of business, and they were selling all of their displays. I walked right past it apparently. So he called out to me, “babe you gotta come here!” “This would be perfect for your coffee bar!” And he was so right! I was also ecstatic that it fit in our new house as well! The perfect location, within steps of my desk. So I can fuel up when need be.

Whenever I style an area I like to start with the big pieces first and then work my way to the smaller decor pieces. Because this is a coffee bar and a high traffic area, I also wanted it to be functional as well. Coffee pods within reach, sugar nearby and plenty of mugs!

I love to use wreaths underneath items like a mug rack or a cake plate. I think it gives it a pop of color and adds fun texture as well. The backside of the coffee bar has chicken wire, so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to stick in some flower stems so they look like they are floating.

When arranging faux florals I like to start with the taller pieces in the back first. If it’s an arrangement where you don’t see the backside like this one especially. Take your time with it. Keep layering and filling in the sparse areas. This particular arrangement probably took me a good 10 minutes to get it spruced and fixed just right.

The tea towels were from the Hearth and Hand line at Target a few years ago. The white rabbit one is one of my favorites, so I knew I wanted him to be hanging down on display. Another easy way to add in some color to your coffee bar is to use a table runner. Target Dollar Spot is always my go to for table runners for each season. They are cute and cheap!
