Review of Our Casaluna Bedding
Hey friend! Today I’m sharing a quick little review of our Casaluna Bedding we purchased from Target. We decided to go with the Heavyweight Linen Blend Duvet Set. While on vacation Chris and I drove past the local Target twice and both times people were waiting in 90 degree weather to get in the store. The third time was the charm. We finally made our way over to the new section showcasing the New Casaluna Collection. It’s such a beautiful display that is very calming and appeasing to the eye. The colors are all so amazing, very cool and calming.
After weighing the color options we decided to go with Sage Green. It was the last one of the shelf so we both thought it was meant to be. There’s just something so exciting about getting new bedding. We already had a lightweight comforter at home so the duvet set was the perfect option for us. I also like the idea that you can take the duvet off and easily clean it, whereas the comforter you would have to have it cleaned somewhere due to its size.
Let’s talk texture. The duvet and shams have a nice linen texture on one side and the other side is a super soft 100% sateen cotton on the back. I love the detail on the pillow shams as well. They have that frayed edge that really adds a bit of interest to the sham. The linen blend offers a relaxed look, but doesn’t get super wrinkly like straight linen would.
The sage green is absolutely beautiful. It’s honestly better in person in my opinion. Our bedroom is very neutral on its own so I thought this color would be the perfect addition without adding in too much color. For the photos shown, I edited them in a way that did not distort the actual color. That way you get a true sense of the color if you are thinking about purchasing them online.
I love that it is machine washable and I don’t have to take it in to be dry cleaned. That is such an added bonus. We have a California King Bed and the King set fit perfectly, with more than enough hangover on each side. The duvet has ties on each corner making it easy to tie to your insert. It has an easy zippered closure which I love. I always hated having to button up duvets. The zipper is so much better. The shams also have a zippered closure.
Overall I am really impressed with this duvet set, and I’m kind of wanting to add to our collection. The Euro Shams seem to be super popular as well, so I’m keeping my eye on those for when the get restocked. This collection also offers sheets, blankets, towels, candles and fragrances. So when you’re in Target next, be sure to check it out!
I hope this little review of our Casaluna Bedding was helpful for those of you who were on the fence about this new line. If you have any further questions feel free to leave them down in the comments. You can shop my bedroom here.

I also filmed a quick video if you’d like to get a closer look! I also share an easy way of inserting your comforter in the duvet itself. Trust me it saves a lot of time and you don’t have to crawl up inside it!

What insert do you have to pair with the sage green casaluna duvet cover? We have a king sized one and a Scott living down insert, but it isn’t secure and is a pain to keep nice. I’d love to know which one to put in so that it doesn’t jostle around inside the cover so much!

These are the king inserts we use: https://bit.ly/3CwZYGU

Have you tried washing the duvet cover and sheets? I love the look of these but am hesitant to buy because many of the reviews claim the fabric discolors and falls apart after washing.

I’ve probably washed it well over a dozen times by now and haven’t had any issues.

Are you still using these sets? How do they hold up?

Yes we still use our Casaluna bedding. It has held up wonderfully! I highly recommend them!
