Table for Two

I think that a Valentine’s Day spent at home is always more romantic. It’s a chance to create a beautiful dinner for your other half. You can either dress up or wear your comfies. And who wants to spend a night around a bunch of strangers anyway? I did a similar tablescape a few years ago outside on our courtyard and it was so much fun. So this year I decided to set one up on the porch. Keep in mind it was 38° and raining when I set this up and shot. I’m still recovering as I write this blog.

I kept it rather simple so you can easily set this up in no time. My favorite piece is the tablecloth itself. It’s not Valentine’s Day themed so I can use it again and again. I added in just a touch of pink with our vintage rose plates.

These real touch roses are one of my favorite faux florals I own. They look good anywhere! Because it was rather breezy I was afraid to light candle tapers for fear of starting a fire, so I went with one of my trusty battery operated lights along with some mercury glass tea lights.

Some cut glass stemware and some linen napkins make any table look elevated. I’m hoping to set this up again once it’s a little warmer even though we do have a heater out here.

I hope y’all have a very Happy Valentine’s Day!

Xoxo,

Robyn
