Valentine’s Day Tablescape
I’ve been dying to show you this fun little tablescape I did for Valentine’s Day. It was inspired by our Nora Fleming serving dishes with their cute little interchangeable minis. I thought to myself…”What can I put in them?” Then it came to me! My husband loves, and I mean loves nuggets from Chick-Fil-A! I mean, who doesn’t right?! So much flavor in that tiny little nugget of joy! So I give you my “Hugs with Nugs” Valentine’s Day Tablescape! I surprised him after work last Friday with this spread and boy was he in heaven! It’s the little things in life sometimes, like having Chick-Fil-A waiting on your loved one when they’ve had a long week.
Just a little disclaimer – My “Hugs with Nugs” is referring to chicken nuggets and hugs for Valentine’s Day NOT the urban meaning for drugs. Just thought I would clarify before moving on. Glad I googled that before posting.
I found these cute heart shaped striped napkins at TJ Maxx and placed those on my galvanized chargers from Hobby Lobby. Then I topped those with these Rae Dunn trivets my mom picked up from TJ Maxx. I thought they were the perfect size for our nuggets!
My center piece is a lantern from Target’s Hearth and Hand line, that I filled with fake grass I picked up at Michaels. I stuck a galvanized heart in the middle to match the galvanized chargers.
The lantern is sitting atop my Coca-Cola crate, because…well…it’s red and the perfect accessory for all kinds of holidays! 🙂 The crate gives the lantern some height and it’s the perfect pop of red that I was needing!
The cherry craft sodas I found at Dollar Tree. I wanted a glass bottle with red liquid so these were the best I could find. Honestly we probably won’t drink them, but they sure are cute and that’s all that matters.
My favorite pieces are these two Nora Fleming serving dishes. They were both given to us by our family, so they are extra special. I was so excited to bust them both out for this Valentine’s Day tablescape! Nora Fleming makes such cute items that are so nice for gift giving! The little minis are interchangeable, and she makes all kinds of different minis for any occasion.
I hope y’all have a wonderful Valentine’s Day! Sorry not sorry if you are now craving Chick-Fil-A. I just hope it’s not a Sunday when you’re reading this. 🙂 What are your plans for Valentine’s Day? Do you go out or stay in? Let me know in the comments. Have a wonderful week friends!
